ABOUT US

From Drywall to Destinations: The Russ Kelly & Associates Story

Every company starts with a person who has an idea and then brings it to life, and Russ Kelly & Associates (RKA) is no exception. As our name suggests, Russ Kelly was the idea guy. Back in 1977, Russ and his brother were self-employed residential drywallers with excellent references that led to retail work, which was the catalyst for incorporating as Russ Kelly, Inc. For years it was just four people, until things changed in 2002 and 2003 with the key hires of Joe Coyne and Reds Reilly. That’s when the company really took off, bringing in new name-brand accounts like Auntie Annes, Liberty Travel, and MetroMarket, and jobs at prominent transit venues like 30th Street Station and Suburban Station.

Built on Quality, Driven by Relationships

Our values have remained the same for nearly 50 years. We have seen this industry change over time and have witnessed firsthand how quality gets sacrificed for price. At RKA, we strive to deliver a project where craftsmanship, functionality, and attention to detail fully support the client’s vision and design team’s efforts. The company is proud to be built on repeat business and customer referrals, building each client relationship to last.

Our size allows us to be nimble, self-performing on small projects and subcontracting for the large ones, where we can control carpenter labor on a job site. This distinguishes us from many of our competitors.
