SCROLL

WHAT WE DID

Russ Kelly & Associates, in a joint venture with Eagle I Electric, worked under extreme scheduling restrictions to complete the renovation of American Airlines at the Philadelphia International Airport in just under 10 weeks.

In the merger of AMR Corporation, the parent company of American Airlines, and US Airways Group, the parent company of US Airways, these two airlines formed the largest Airline in the world, with more than 6,700 daily flights to 336 locations in 56 countries worldwide.

UNIQUE TO THE PROJECT

As U.S Airways transitioned to American Airlines at the Philadelphia International Airport they were searching for a new look to fit their growing brand. This included the removal and replacement of all American Airline ticketing counters and installing 76 kiosks throughout the terminals.

RKA worked diligently saw cutting the terrazzo floors to get power and data to the kiosks. While completing the electrical work Russ Kelly & Associates and Eagle I Electric had to see to it that the ticket counters were accessible for passengers at the airport. The effectiveness of RKA's management style was reflected in the adherence to the time frame required, the coordination of an 'open to the public' airport setting and the scheduling of multiple trades to produce this superior renovation to the Philadelphia International Airport.
